Logback4Gx is an GeneXus's External Object that allows to integrate a very flexible mechanism and professional log: Logback. With Logback4Gx implement an application logging is really simple and powerful. Due that Logback4Gx is a wrapper (it doesn't adds features to Logback library), I'll point some features of Logback library:
* Just logs. Code clean, simple and unobtrusive.
* Logs on once, then decide how to show. Separate interface layer from the presentation layer. The same log can be sent to a file or DB.
* Multiple loggin presentation possibilities. You can send your logs to database and/or file and/or email and/or standart output and/or to a centralized server, etc..
* External Settings. Change the settings at runtime without making any changes to the application.
* Quick! Designed for environments where speed is critical. Parameterized conditional logs.
* Based on standart. It is based on the implementation of slf4j, a standart log facade implemented by most java's log projects.
* Tested. Used by large number of serious projects of software industry.
